Hissy fits
Several years ago I had gone to the serpentarium on the east side of St. Cloud, Florida and found it most interesting. In addition to the large variety of reptiles, indigenous and others, they also do venom extractions from various types of snakes – another job that it not on my horizon. Well yesterday on my birthday a dear friend, Barbara, decided we should revisit the serpentarium. And so we did. Here is some of what we saw. You can double click the images to enlarge.

They have a large collection of indigenous turtles. One, an alligator turtle gave me a different perspective on turtles. He was enormous and could really put a “hurt on you”. |

This is an Egyptian variety of cobra. It was this type that bit Cleopatra. “Bad cobra, bad!!, bad!!”. |
