Summer’s late blooms

	A Plumeria.
	A vanda. This orchid is about to produce a third bloom spike for this year. This is near the end of the second spike.
	A cattleya orchid with 4 bloom spikes.
	phaleanopsis with mumps?????

Open seed pods

	In March of 09 I was wondering what this was and what it would produce. Now the answer…
	It is now June of 09. This is two Plumeria seed pods. Normally each of these individual seeds would autorotate/helicopter to the ground when leaving the pod. But I have captured them and will grow them in pots.

A new passion fruit

This one differs from the original in two ways: the color (the original was blue) and this one produces fruit whereas the original did not. Stay tuned.

Some spring time happenings.

	This is a Christmas cactus. The only problem is that it is March 27, 2009. I think it is confused. :>D
	Some orchids.
	Plumeria with bloom spike.
	The plumeria with an appendix? What is this?
	And finally!!! After 4~5 years the Lychee tree has decided to flower and bear fruit. These little green "bulbs" should become large red spheres after they mature. Looking forward to this event. But why did it flower only on the east side? Hmm. I know. Closer to Asia maybe?

Today’s weather is going to be cold and this should last for the next few days. So I will be moving the orchids inside until the weather improves. Here one that was “rescued” from Lowes two years ago. Well worth the wait.
